Access Local ferret straight from your taskbar!
Why not make it really easy to access local suppliers,
services and shops anytime by adding the Local Ferret
icon to your taskbar - works in IE5 and above on PC.
It's very easy!
First Step: Add to favorites
If you have already done this move onto step
two. If not, click on the "Add to favorites"
button in the "Main Menu"
section.
Step Two: Create shortcut to desktop
Once you have completed the "Add
to favorites" step, right-click on the
Local Ferret icon in your favourites and select "Send
To". When the next
menu appears left-click on "Desktop".
Step Three: Check your "Quick Launch"
is active
Right-click on your taskbar and left-click
on "Toolbars". If "Quick
Launch" is active it will have a tick
against it. If not, simply click on "Quick
Launch" to activate it.
Step Four: Drag and Drop
Now, simply drag and drop your Local Ferret icon,
which is on the desktop, onto the "Quick
Launch" area of your taskbar; this is
normally just to the right of your "start"
button.
YOU NOW HAVE DIRECT ACCESS
TO LOCAL FERRET FROM YOUR TASKBAR - HAPPY FERRETING!
